Transportation
agreement
Domestic authority
The driving personnel exercise domiciliary rights on behalf of the bus company during the entire journey. The instructions of the driving personnel, especially with regard to safety issues, must be followed.
Security & luggage
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, smoking is prohibited on board all buses for fire safety reasons. Food may be carried and consumed unless otherwise contractually agreed, but the driver may prohibit the consumption of alcoholic beverages at his own discretion in order to ensure the safety of the journey. All garbage must be deposited in the garbage bins or bags provided for this purpose. All passengers are obliged to remain in their seats during the journey. This does not apply to visits to the on-board toilet and galley. Seat belts must be worn on buses with seat belts. As with airplanes, storage space is limited on buses. We ask you to refrain from using hard-sided suitcases and recommend travel bags instead.
Damage & cleaning
The customer is liable for any damage to the bus equipment caused by himself or by members of his travel group. Before the start of the journey, any existing damage that is visible when boarding the bus must be reported to the driver in order to rule out any unjustified allocation of damage to the customer. If, at the start of the journey, the driver recognizes a particular risk to the performance of the journey, e.g. due to the passengers already being under the influence of alcohol, the customer may be required to pay a security deposit in cash and against a receipt. In particularly serious cases, a trip may be canceled or aborted. If the customer or a guest who is part of the group accidentally or intentionally soils the bus/equipment beyond the usual conditions, we reserve the right to charge cleaning costs on site or after the trip. The amount of the costs will be calculated according to the cleaning effort and the extent of the soiling, taking into account the consequences (e.g. loss of follow-up orders, reduction in quality due to odor, etc.).
Rest & driving time regulations for drivers
We would like to point out that the bus driver has a driving time of 9-10 hours and a total shift time of 12-15 hours, which must not be exceeded. The subsequent rest period is 9-11 hours. If two bus drivers are used, the total shift time is 20 hours. The legal requirements take precedence over the contract agreed between the customer and the service provider. Please note the necessity of a written agreement for an extended shift time or a second driver if the above-mentioned working time is not sufficient.
Termination of the provision of services
In the event of a breach of the conditions of carriage and safety regulations set out in this transportation agreement, the driver may terminate the service after issuing a warning to no avail. In the event of such termination of the contract through the fault of a third party, the customer shall not be entitled to any compensation.
The provision of services under normal circumstances is guaranteed, but may be jeopardized by the effects of force majeure and other external influences beyond the bus company's control. In the event of a defect, the customer may only remedy the defect himself or, in the event of a significant defect, cancel the trip if he grants the organizer a reasonable period of time to remedy the defect. Contact is guaranteed by the emergency hotline, which is available 24 hours a day. A deadline is not required if the remedy is impossible or is refused by the organizer or the immediate remedy or termination is required by a particularly serious interest of the customer. In this case, the customer undertakes to always choose the most favorable type of remedy. In this case too, the bus company (AGT) must be consulted in advance. The driving personnel employed are not authorized to issue instructions in cases of service failure.
Additional services not booked in the contract, such as extra hours, extra kilometers, drinks and snacks, must be paid to the driver against receipt before use, unless otherwise agreed in the transport contract (payment afterwards). The same applies to the payment of parking and toll charges.
All buses used by the bus company have the necessary concessions to operate occasional or scheduled services. The driving personnel are legally obliged to comply with the provisions on rest and driving times. These stipulate maximum driving and shift times to which the customer's travel program must be subordinated for safety reasons.
