Through great commitment, targeted promotion and optimization of internal and external processes, AGT Bus- & Eventlogistik was able to achieve platinum status in the EcoVadis sustainability rating and has been among the top 1% of more than 90,000 companies audited worldwide since 2022! AGT Bus- & Eventlogistik thanks employees for their participation to improve the company and promises to continue focus on the environment, ethics, labor & human rights and sustainable procurement. In addition, AGT Bus- & Eventlogistik was undergoing further certification, such as ISO standards Environmental Management Standard ISO 14001:2015 and Occupational Safety and Health ISO 45001:2018 for continuous growth and optimization.

Founded in 2007, EcoVadis has become the world’s most renowned provider of sustainability ratings. In the first four years, they have already had 4,000 companies assessed against the four criteria of environment, labor & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. Seven more years later, in 2018, they have already assessed 45,000 companies, launched several offices globally, and opened the first cybersecurity risk rating center – CyberVadis.

Today, EcoVadis is the most trusted provider in its field, as evidenced by the steady growth of now 85,000+ audited companies from 160+ countries. Its mission is to enable all companies to reduce risk, improve performance and enhance environmental and social outcomes.

Based on the rank of the EcoVadis rating, the company is divided into sustainability recognition levels. Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum represent the status of the rating in ascending order.

AGT Coach & Event Logistics undergoes detailed audit by EcoVadis

In 2021/2022, AGT Bus- & Eventlogistik underwent the detailed audit by EcoVadis. In accordance with the guiding principle “AGT for sustainability“, AGT Bus- & Eventlogistik promotes, respects and is committed to its stakeholders and contributes to the realization of sustainable development. The company scored particularly well in the areas of the environment and labor and human rights. The purchase and generation of renewable energies and the reduction of energy consumption were rated positively. In the following 10 years, more than 44% of the energy will be saved through implemented retrofits at the Hamburg headquarters. Thanks to the participation in reforestation projects, which belong to the measures that have a special value at AGT Bus- & Eventlogistik, about 10 tons of CO² could be compensated.

In recent years, additional partnerships have been established with the United Nations Global Compact and the UmweltPartnerschaft Hamburg. This promotes and strengthens the working environment of the company’s employees. A comprehensive implementation of the so-called whistle-blowing procedure was started in 2021. An external party, Whistleblower Netzwerk e. V., will be consulted to ensure successful implementation. The whistle-blowing procedure is designed to help employees report misconduct and illegal or unethical behavior in the workplace. It is intended to be an additional and, above all, protective measure for reporting violations. Nonetheless, violations of any kind can also be communicated to the direct supervisor or other independent parties within the company. In this step, extensive workshops were held to consolidate the elementary points of the procedure.

In addition to the whistle-blowing procedure, AGT Bus- & Eventlogistik has a zero tolerance policy regarding discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, abuse of authority, corruption, toxic work environment and retaliation in the workplace. As a result, a complaint procedure and clear escalation levels have been implemented additionally.
