Planning

Start organising early, especially if your trip takes place during peak season or at popular events. For large-scale events, we recommend enquiring early. We also review short-notice enquiries on a case-by-case basis. Consider your destination, travel duration and programme in advance and set a rough schedule. This gives you enough room for changes and lets you obtain quotes in good time.

Number of participants

The number of passengers determines which bus size is suitable for your club trip. For smaller groups, a minibus with driver for 8 to 18 people is a good choice, while larger sports or music clubs need a coach for 19 to 50 people, a coach XL for 51 to 57 people or a double-decker coach for 58 to 75 people. Also allow sufficient luggage space for bags, musical instruments or sports equipment.

Travel programme

A club trip should not only run smoothly but also be pleasant. Therefore, create a detailed travel plan with departure times, planned stops and important appointments. Especially for longer journeys, it is advisable to schedule breaks for rest. Also consider whether stopovers for meals or sights should be planned. If your club is taking part in a competition or event, make sure to include sufficient buffer time for unforeseen delays.

Budget

A well-thought-out cost plan ensures that the club trip remains affordable and that no unexpected expenses arise. Catering costs for snacks or planned meals and a possible hotel stay should also be planned early.
