The ultimate horror trip is offered by Frankenstein Castle, which has become a true institution when it comes to houses of horror and attracts people from all over the world at Halloween. The eerie castle has been drawing guests under its horror spell since 1977. Contrary to what many think, however, this is not the place where Mary Shelley's horror story of the same name is set – it merely lent the story its name.

KaDeWe Berlin
The Kaufhaus des Westens, or KaDeWe for short, is probably the best-known department store in Germany. For over 100 years, the store has been offering upscale and luxury goods and delights customers from all over the world. At the end of October, the department store transforms into a glamorous party location and, together with champagne producer Pommery, hosts a big Halloween party.
The dress code is simple: dress up as your favorite horror movie character! In addition to plenty of champagne, the event promises culinary delights, including an oyster bar and other maritime specialties served by the in-house fish restaurant.

In the mood to party? Then for Halloween 2025 you should perhaps consider the Halloween party ship in Hamburg. After last year's successful debut, the organizers want to go one better and are announcing the second edition of the ship party on the Elbe. Already on October 26, a few days before official Halloween, impatient horror fans can dance the night away to the finest hits of the last 30 years.
Naturally, the ship will be decorated for the occasion, and guests are expected to do the same. The perfect opportunity for horror fans to slip into their costumes and show off their best make-up skills. And best of all: thanks to the clocks changing, the party can go on for an extra hour that night.
