Frankenstein Castle
Frankenstein Castle is a Halloween institution and attracts visitors from many countries. This haunted castle has been welcoming visitors since 1977. Contrary to popular belief, it is not the setting for Mary Shelley’s novel of the same name, but merely served as the inspiration for its title.
With its shows, monsters, and crypts, Frankenstein Castle offers an intense Halloween experience. The complex, which is over a thousand years old, spans more than 3,000 m² of walls and ruins.
KaDeWe Berlin
The Kaufhaus des Westens, or KaDeWe for short, is one of Germany’s most famous department stores. For over 100 years, the store has offered a high-end selection and luxury goods, attracting customers from all over the world. At the end of October, the department store transforms into a party venue and, together with champagne producer Pommery, hosts a Halloween party.
The dress code is simple: come dressed as your favorite character from a horror movie. In addition to champagne, culinary delights await you, including an oyster bar and other seafood specialties from the in-house seafood restaurant.
Halloween Party Boat
If you’re looking to celebrate, consider the Halloween Party Boat in Hamburg. On October 31, 2026—Halloween itself—the party boat sets sail on the Elbe. Guests will dance to hits from the past 30 years.
