AGT Bus- & Eventlogistik GmbH supports the team spirit of its employees in various ways: Company parties, sports activities and many other benefits are designed to strengthen the team. One benefit that is distributed annually is the kick-off trip. The departments receive a fixed budget and are allowed to plan and carry out a trip within this framework. The employees can get to know each other better, discover what they have in common and strengthen their cohesion. Read the adventurous stories of the first kick-off trips in 2022 below.
Our Operations Managers on Operation Paris
Bonjour! At Easter time, our Operations Managers went on a big trip with the Customer Service. From Hamburg to Paris, with a stopover at Disneyland. The park was explored in two groups, but in the evening the 15-headed travel group united and ended the exciting but also exhausting day together at dinner. The next day was spent at the Disney movie studios. The look behind the scenes fascinated all teammates and gave them a unique experience. Completely enchanted, the group continued to the city of love: Paris. The Paris sightseeing tour started at the city’s main landmark on the Seine. The Eiffel Tower served as the perfect subject for group photos for the employees. Other highlights, according to Yasemin, our Operations Manager, were the Louvre with its special architecture and the Champs-Elysee. But what will remain in the memory of the entire travel group is the last dinner in the world-famous restaurant “Le Chat Noir” – the restaurant with the famous black cat is already known from “Moulin Rouge”. The operation team says au revoir and goodbye!
Living la vida loca in Lisbon
Olá! The managing directors, HR department, office management and accounting department set off for Lisbon in April. The team of 10 explored Portuguese culture, food and nightlife. Besides lots of delicious food and dancing, sightseeing was a big point during the trip. Wonderful and monumental sights were visited. First stop was the Torre de Belém. The tower is one of the most famous landmarks in Lisbon. After the Torre de Belém, the 3.2 kilometer long bridge Ponte 25 de Abril was visited. City hopping was also on the agenda. The breathtaking Cascais was on the list. The fishing town offers a bit of a change from the big city hustle and bustle of Lisbon and has a direct location on the Portuguese coast. Back in the homebase Lisbon, the districts Cais do Sodré and Bairro Alto were explored. In addition, a day at the wonderful beach of Lisbon could not be missed. Sherilin, HR Manager, reports that the water had a maximum of 20 degrees, but still no foot remained dry. The final stop, and a dream for all shopping lovers, was the Vasco da Gama shopping center. 144 stores, 33 restaurants, a gym and a multiplex cinema with six screens are spread over the 49,000 square meter area. With pockets full, it was Adeus Lisboa!
Living like the Greek gods on Crete
Chaírete! For the sales team including Sales & Review Manager Emma, Sales Assistant Tracy, Sales Trainee Gerret and IT Trainee Sascha, the trip to sunny Crete started at the beginning of June! After a long flight, the travel group first had to recover in the vacation apartment. A cozy evening with shared meals and card games put everyone in a good mood. On the second day of the trip, the beach of the island Elafonisi was visited. Gorgeous pink beaches with turquoise water – the team couldn’t have asked for better! Deeply relaxed, they left the island and returned to Crete. A long walk led the teammates to a nightclub. There they partied communally with the locals and even got to have their first DJ experience. “I didn’t know what I was doing, but it sounded good,” Tracy says. The Crete trip was rounded out by a 1.5-hour boat tour to the island of La Zareta. “We got to see Crete from a completely different perspective. At the end of the boat tour, we jumped into the sea and were able to cool off. Crete was just good for us,” said Emma. Antío Kriti – this was not the last time!
