The technical implementation
As part of the project, we organized our shuttle service using a specially developed app that offers users an intuitive booking and cancellation function. Employees were able to specify their travel requests in real time, which enabled flexible adjustment of the shuttle routes.
Thanks to the integration of real-time data from public transport and bike rental systems, a seamless mobility chain was created that also showed users alternatives to the shuttle if this made sense for time or organizational reasons.
Particularly valuable for the company was the smart route optimization, which reduced empty runs to a minimum and maximized the efficiency of the shuttle service.
This route optimization, which will be further improved by AI technologies in the future, ensures that employees can commute between the different locations on time and without stress, without having to rely on their own cars.
